Role Overview
We are developing a network of SEO websites within the interactive entertainment sector and are seeking a proactive Domain Manager to oversee the domain infrastructure for our SEO division. This is an operational and technical role at the intersection of SEO and Development, involving a large domain portfolio, multiple registrars, DNS, Cloudflare, renewals, access management, and domain-related incidents.
Key Responsibilities
• Manage a large portfolio of domains and their lifecycle• Purchase new domains and approved drop domains• Work with multiple registrars: registrations, transfers, renewals, auto-renewals, and domain statuses• Configure DNS, nameservers, SSL, and Cloudflare• Monitor renewals, payments, costs, and access permissions• Maintain a unified domain registry and change history• Connect domains to Google Search Console, GA4, Yandex.Webmaster, Bing Webmaster Tools, and other services• Conduct basic checks of drop domain history and status• Diagnose domain-related incidents and interact with registrar/hosting support• Collaborate closely with SEO Specialists and Developers
Requirements & Qualifications
• 1.5+ years of practical experience working with domains• Experience managing a large domain portfolio; 100+ domains is a significant advantage• Practical experience with multiple registrars• Strong understanding of DNS, NS, A, CNAME, TXT, MX, SSL• Practical experience with Cloudflare• Systematic approach to renewals, billing, accounting, and access management• Experience with Google Sheets / Excel• Understanding of aged / expired / drop domains• English proficiency at B1 level or higher for working with support and documentation• Experience in interactive entertainment, affiliate marketing, SEO networks, PBN / satellites, or crypto projects is a plus• Experience managing 100+ domains simultaneously is a plus• Familiarity with Ahrefs, Wayback Machine, WHOIS / RDAP is a plus• Experience working with multiple GEOs and registrar accounts is a plus• Experience automating domain accounting and renewal control is a plus• Desire to develop in domain management and master domain search with the SEO team is a plus
