Role Overview
We are seeking a strong specialist in email infrastructure and deliverability for our retention platform within an international digital entertainment project. The project boasts over 5 million users, utilizes self-hosted Dittofeed, and features its own multi-ESP SMTP router, targeting global markets. Frankly, the current infrastructure was built by engineers following guides; it works, but we need a seasoned professional who can properly redesign the email system and subsequently own this critical area. You will have a carte blanche for rebuilding, with full support from the development team.
Key Responsibilities
• Audit and redesign of the domain portfolio and routing
• Systematic warming up and scaling email volumes from tens of thousands to hundreds of thousands of emails daily
• Connecting and developing proprietary SMTP servers: PowerMTA / Halon / MailerQ
• Managing deliverability, reputation, remediation, and ensuring sending stability
Requirements & Qualifications
• 5+ years of experience in deliverability for global markets
• Experience in designing sending infrastructure, not just working within ESP interfaces
• Hands-on experience with MTA (Mail Transfer Agent)
• Understanding of email warming processes with demonstrable results
• Proven remediation cases for deliverability issues
