Role Overview
Sunshine Group, an international group of companies, is seeking a Head of Content Production for its new project in Astana, an Astana Hub resident. The company is developing an AI platform for marketing that generates videos and creatives using neural networks (avatars, lip-sync, auto-editing). This role involves launching an in-house content factory – a small team that will test the effectiveness of short videos at scale and use this data to train the product (an R&D direction within the product). The primary goal is to establish and scale a content pipeline from brief to published video and audience analysis, focusing on volume and data, and building a team of creators. This position is not about brand strategy or community management, but about creating a content conveyor and working with large data volumes to identify winning content.
Key Responsibilities
• Build and maintain the content pipeline: brief → production (volume) → scheduled publication → audience measurement → winner detection → winner scaling;• Form and lead a team of creators/reel makers (2–3 initially, with future growth), establish briefs, quality gates, and weekly quotas;• Implement an AI production pipeline (avatars/video generation: HeyGen/Creatify-class);• Monitor key metrics: output volume, share of "winners", speed of the "brief → publication" cycle;• Conduct weekly analysis of "what performed well / why", report to the owner;• Tag winning content and transfer it to performance marketing / product teams.
Requirements & Qualifications
• Experience leading an SMM/content team for 2+ years; launching a new direction from scratch is a plus;• Deep understanding of short vertical video (Reels / TikTok / Shorts): formats, hooks, and factors driving reach;• Experience working with reach/engagement metrics, making data-driven decisions;• Skills in hiring and managing creators, setting briefs, and controlling release pace;• Organizational and systematic approach: conveyor and calendar are more important than inspiration.
