Role Overview
Workside is looking for a developer to work on the server-side of gaming products, including betting logic, transactions, and high-load systems within the interactive entertainment industry.
Key Responsibilities
• Developing a game engine using Node.js + TypeScript (Fastify).• Implementing logic for rounds, bets, balances, and transactions.• Working with PostgreSQL, WebSocket/Socket.IO, Firebase Auth.• Implementing Provably Fair, integrations with external APIs, and security mechanisms.• Maintaining product stability and evolving the architecture.
Requirements & Qualifications
• 3+ years of experience with Node.js + TypeScript.• Experience with PostgreSQL and backend logic for financial/transactional systems.• Understanding of real-time communications and high-load solutions.• Mandatory experience in the interactive entertainment/gaming platforms sector and understanding of game mechanics.
